"So much depends upon

 

shelter under a old tilting house,

 

providing coverage and safety

 

for an old hound kittens and a calico cat,

 

a home so much depends upon one.

Your poem really made my brain click into high gear. At first I didn't understand it, so I read it about three times slowly. Then, without warning, a big lightbulb flashed on in my brain! This is a poem only you could write, and it is so creative and wonderful! Every time I put my reading glasses on I will think about your words.
