Chewie
by.Samantha
so much depends upon
a tan dog
with mud all over him
by a wet muddy puddle
PUCK
By.Samantha
So much depends upon
a grey calico kitten
in a piney forest
trying to get back home
RANGER
By.Samantha
So much depends upon
a dog that has a chain around his heart
stuck with a mean grumpy man
wishes he could get out of there
Garface
By.Samantha
So much depends upon
a realy mean man
who's only mean
because of his rotten dad

This is truly one of my favorites, because your words create such a powerful picture in my mind. Like you, I have a special place in my heart for dogs too. I wish I would have written this poem.

It's always a tan dog that gets the dirtiest!

I love your poems Samantha! Espiacally the ones about The Underneath. I wrote one about Ranger too. I was going to do Sabine and Puck but, I think I'm going to do Sabine, Puck, Grandmother Moccasin.
