Habitat
The firefly Squid's habitat is in the Wstern Pacific Ocean in the twilight zone.
Prey
The Firefly Squid eats any kind of small fish but he eats Zooplankton the most.
Adaptations
His/her adaptation is their form because when a predetor is coming straight at them their body makes them look bigger than than they really look like.Another adaptation are their bioluminescence body, when it is hungry all it has to do is flash its lights and it will attract prey to go over to him so he can snatch his prey.
Predator
The predetor of the Firefly Squid is the Orca Whale and Sperm Whale.

The Firefly Squid can only grow up to 3 inches long and 3 inches wide.They get thier name from real fireflies.They can go down to 600 to 1,200 feet (182 to 365 meters) .Their differant body colors can be blue,green and yellow but, the most frequent color is blue.The scientific name for Firefly Squid is the Watasenia Scintillans.The Firefly Squid is a SMALL part of the squid family.At night they migrate up to the surface.When the mothers die and wash to the shore, fishermen come and grab them so they can get cooked and fried and people eat them.

Life Cycle
The life cycle of the Firefly Squid is they get born and then they go to Japan and they get their eggs fertilized and after their eggs get fertilized the mom starts to die.
